Excludes: Pad or trace reconstruction · Unrelated faults
£69
A console that powers on but shows no picture usually has a damaged HDMI connector rather than a dead machine. The port is a mechanical part soldered to the board, and it takes the strain every time a cable is knocked.

Every stage is recorded, and nothing beyond the agreed work happens without your written approval.
A no-signal console is not always a port. I check the connector, the board around it, and the signal path before quoting, because a damaged HDMI controller or processor is a different job with a different price.
The old port is taken off with controlled heat so the surrounding pads, anchors and traces stay intact and can be inspected properly.
If pads or traces were torn when the port was damaged, I stop and tell you what reconstruction the board needs before any further work is agreed.
A replacement connector is fitted, then the console is display-tested and functionally checked before it is packed for return.
The limits are published here rather than discovered on your invoice.
Describe the device and the fault. I reply personally, within one working day, and tell you whether the repair is suitable for mail-in before you send anything.
