The site aims for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Automated checks run against every page at mobile, tablet and desktop widths on each release and currently report no violations, and the browser suite covers keyboard order, visible focus, reduced motion and reflow at a 200% zoom equivalent. That is not the same as a full audit: no independent testing with screen readers, speech input or magnification software has been carried out, so full conformance is not claimed.
Measures built into the website
- A skip link, semantic headings and landmarks, and descriptive page titles.
- Visible keyboard focus and controls designed for keyboard operation.
- Text and controls that reflow at 200% zoom and across small screens.
- High-contrast text, links and validation states that do not rely on colour alone.
- Native form labels and constraints, plus an error summary that links back to each field.
- Reduced-motion support and no essential information conveyed only through animation.
- Plain-language safety messages, including the unsafe-battery postal stop.
Known outstanding work
An independent audit still has to cover current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers, screen-reader announcements, and speech and magnification software against the full form error-and-success journey. Until that is done, treat the conformance position above as partial.
Third-party payment pages and email clients are outside this website’s direct control. Their accessibility must be considered when the payment provider and production email templates are approved.
Tell me about a barrier
Email repairs@rmcdevicerepairs.co.uk and describe the page, what you were trying to do, the barrier you met and any assistive technology or browser details you are comfortable sharing. Do not include passwords, passcodes or sensitive device information.
If you need repair information in a different accessible format, tell me what format would work. I will explain what I can provide and how it will be supplied.
Escalating a concern
If an accessibility concern is not resolved, use the complaints process. The final statement will include any additional enforcement-route wording required for this private-sector UK service after professional review.
