A small service with one clear point of contact.

RMC Device Repairs is run by one Level 3 board technician with 17 years’ professional experience, from ordinary part replacement to board components, damaged pads and reconstructed traces.

The same technician handles each request, quote, repair, test and customer update.

Why RMC Device Repairs exists

People should not need to choose between a convenient mail-in service and a technician who can follow a fault beyond the obvious replaceable part. I built this service to offer both: a controlled postal process and the depth to work at board level when the repair calls for it.

I will tell you when a job is straightforward, when inspection has uncovered something more involved, and when spending more money would not be sensible. A good repair service should make those decisions easier, not hide them.

Personal ownership

No hand-off between a sales desk, intake queue and anonymous repairer. I own the answer from first review to return.

A manual record, kept deliberately separate.

Once an accepted device physically arrives, I create the ordinary internal repair record manually. The public website does not create a RepairOS booking, expose a customer portal, send automatic status updates or synchronise repair data.

The website collects only what the first review needs
  • Your contact details and preferred email contact
  • An unverified device description
  • Your own description of the fault
  • A data-importance handling cue
  • An opaque website reference

Tell me what the device is doing.

I will review the request personally and normally reply within one working day.
